Victims' Rights

When tragedy strikes, victims need support. PADD prides itself on becoming the newest victim services organization in the country dedicated to distracted driving crashes. Part of those services include ensuring a victim’s rights are maintained. From making a victim impact statement to notification of offender status, victims have rights thanks to the Victim Rights Act of 2004. You can find out more about these rights from the Office for Victims of Crime

If you or someone you love has been impacted by a distracted driving crash, call PADD's® Help Line at 1-234-738-3823 and speak with a victim advocate 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
